A moniker is the specific combination of characters you use to login with. Monikers (also called logins) can contain any letters and numbers, as well as spaces, _ and-.
Spaces, and the _ . - characters do not distinguish monikers. Thus limegirl and lime-girl are considered duplicate monikers; only the first entered wouldbe permitted. This eliminates confusion and an occasional source of deliberate troublemaking.
Don't use your real name unless you are certain you won't ever regret it. See our Privacy Policy.
You can log in and out of The Perfect World, or set your preferences to automatically log you out after a set time of inactivity. If you want to eliminate logins, for the most part, set the Hours of Inactivity to a large number. For example, 900 hours would mean that you would have to be inactive for 900 hours before you'd be logged out. However, if you login from a second computer, you will be automatically logged off the first.
