Making Waves with #CSTA16!
2016 CSTA Annual Conference | July 10-12, 2016
Town and Country Resort & Convention Center
San Diego, California, USA
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
Welcome to CSTA 2016. We call it a conference but it's not like most conferences. The main goal is to provide quality information/assistance--professional development--for computer science teachers and others who wish to include computing in their teaching. We also want to build a community of computing teachers and we want you to be part of it. If you've never attended CSTA, come join us in San Diego. This will be the biggest one yet and it might be the best yet, even though they've all been pretty darn good!
To us, a conference is successful when our attendees leave with at least one new idea that might improve their teaching practice. We hope our guests always leave a CSTA conference with several such ideas and usually a number of specific activities that one can adapt to their teachings. If you've attended before, we bet you can agree with us, and are anxious to attend this time.
CSTA '16 Planning Committee
CSTA 2016 is a professional development opportunity for computer science and information technology educators working in, or within the K-12 arena who need practical, classroom-focused information to help them prepare their students for the future. Conference content is peer reviewed and peer or industry led, making it relevant to today's classroom needs. This year we are staying true to "making waves with CSTA" so we have expanded our conference to span three days, with two days worth of workshops, more industry-specific sessions, more exhibitors, along with multiple networking opportunities.
We would like to give a BIG Thank You to our 2016 sponsors. The CSTA Annual Conference would not be possible without your generous donations and support!
