CSTA is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Bianchi to the CSTA Board of Directors as a Partner Representative. Bianchi is Senior Program Manager for Microsoft Philanthropies.

Prior to joining Microsoft Philanthropies, Bianchi led K-12 CS efforts at Washington STEM, helping establish CS Standards and a CS grant program for the state.  He previously led STEM and Computer Science initiatives for Bellevue School District, where he also served as a teacher and curriculum developer.

“I am thrilled to join the CSTA Board as a Partner Representative for Microsoft. As a former educator and CSTA member, I know the value of this outstanding community,” said Bianchi. “I look forward to working in partnership to support and grow the organization.”

CSTA’s Board is comprised of 14 voting representatives, with 11 of those elected directly by CSTA’s membership. As a new member, Bianchi will work with the full board to set the direction of the organization, provide guidance to CSTA leadership, and promote CSTA’s mission to the greater education community.
