PD for Elementary School Teachers by

Sacred Heart University will be sponsoring workshops for elementary educators throughout the state this spring. The no-cost one-day  workshop Computer Science Fundamentals will be led by CT teachers who are facilitators. This workshop is a fantastic introduction to teaching computer science in grades K-5 for elementary classroom teachers, library media specialists, math/science specialists, technology teachers, and administrators. What's in a workshop? 
In-person instruction including an intro to computer science, pedagogy, overview of the online curriculum, teacher dashboard, and strategies for teaching "unplugged" classroom activities.
