We're looking for a customer-service oriented Membership Experience Manager to drive membership growth and enhance member services.
In collaboration with the Director of Education, the Membership Experience Manager will be responsible for the management and administration of CSTA’s member relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop activities and initiatives to grow and maintain paid memberships; analyze current recruitment and engagement strategies. Represent CSTA at external events with a focus on promoting brand awareness and member recruitment.
  • Identify current member needs and create resources. Resources may include newsletters content, toolkits, brochures, fact sheets, surveys, etc.
  • Maintain relationships with members and stakeholders. Serves as the primary contact for all membership-related activities and inquiries.
  • Manage organization's AMS (Association Management System) and vendor relationship; troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns as needed.
  • Develop regular reports on membership metrics to track the success and overall performance of membership activities
  • Participate as a project team member on membership-related projects and other organizational events
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment for educational equity and teacher support. Develops, maintains, and strengthens partnerships with others inside or outside the organization
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Comfortable speaking to small groups and presenting information.
  • Presents a cheerful, positive manner with both customers and colleagues.
  • Works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Functions effectively when under pressure or working with tight timelines.
  • Develops, sponsors, or supports the introduction of new and improved methods, products, procedures, or technologies.
  • Enures work and information are complete and accurate; carefully prepares for meetings and presentations; follows up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled.
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Google Docs. Experience in managing and maintaining databases.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-3 years experience in a program management position or similar.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% time.
